Volunteer with the PTA

We are currently recruiting for our 2024-2025 PTA Board and Chairs.

Our PTA is made up of hard-working volunteer parents, teachers, and community members who donate their time and resources to support our school.

How much time and commitment is involved depends on your availability! It can range from one time only assignments to monthly, weekly or daily volunteer commitments. Take a look at the list below to join a commitee team or lead as a chair or fill out our volunteer interest form and someone will be in contact with you to discuss how you can get involved!

Open Chair Positions

Donation Drive Committee Chair

This Committee will handle the incoming donations from local businesses and the community as well keep track of any employer matching donations. This is the most efficient way to raise money for the school as we receive 100% of the proceeds! Last year we were able to raise over $15k in direct donations!

Committee will actively try to get donations and or sponsorships from local businesses and the community.
Tasks may include: updating excel spreadsheet, logging in to reconcile matching donations with the third-party donor tracking.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation Committee Chair (Works with Hospitality Chair)

Teacher/Staff Appreciation week is May 6 to May 10, 2024. Committee will show appreciation for the staff in coordination with individual room parents and the hospitality and programming chairs.

Organize and set up Staff Appreciation luncheon
Solicit donations from local businesses to benefit the teachers and staff during the week (giveaways, breakfast, lunches, and snacks)

Logo Wear Committee Chair

Committee handles sales and orders of Lynhaven Spiritwear.

Purchase and organize new inventory
Manage sales and deliveries

Yearbook Committee Chair

Coordinates all things related to the school's yearbook including compiling photos from events,

coordinating with the school photographer, and putting together pages in the yearbook.

Social Media Chair

Manage our social media accounts and posts including Facebook and Instagram.

Room Communication Chair

Manage communication to our students and family through our room communication parent network through email/whatsapp/texts.

can help you decide where your time and talents would fit.

We welcome any new committees if we have volunteers to run them.
