We're glad you asked! PTA stands for Parent Teacher Association.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, made up completely of volunteers who care deeply for Lynhaven Elementary. Our organization name implies parents and teachers, but anyone can join! In fact, we encourage ALL families and staff members to participate in our PTA.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the PTA do?

The PTA advocates for every child to have the best possible school experience. We create opportunities for connections to be made so that there is a stronger link between families and school. This strengthens our community, and therefore gives our students a sense of belonging.

We also want to take care of our Lynhaven teachers and staff. These talented and dedicated individuals are some of the hardest working people you'll ever meet. Our children are so lucky to have these educators, and PTA wants to make sure they feel valued and appreciated.

How can I join?

Sign up to become a PTA member! A single membership costs $15 and gives you voting rights at our PTA General Association Meetings. You can sign up through our online "Store" tab, or by filling out a paper membership form. These paper forms are located on the PTA Table/Display in the school office.
